Question to Nasser Mohamed Elyemeni
If you say that all sects and divisions are not the real islam in line with the ayah:
As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah. He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.
Those who split up their Religion, and become (mere) Sects,- each party rejoicing in that which is with itself!
then what sects is this hadith speaking of?
"There are 73 sects/divisions in Islam, all are in hell except one...."
and which one sect is that?
Nasser Mohamed:
The surviving sect is those minorities in all sects who can see beyond the division and differences and stick to the Koran and worship Allah alone without taking anything else as God. They do not feel themselves belonging to a certain label/sect but see that all is one. They do not criticize other sects and divide by thinking them to be superior and other sects to be inferior. Instead, they say we are all muslims and all comes from Allah.
This is the idea of TAWHEED (ONENESS)...
